Left Behind on the Beach
Left behind on the beach:
A soaking wet beach towel just washed ashore.
The towel laying on the hot sand
gently heating up to slowly dry out.
Left behind on the beach:
Loud noisy seagulls fighting over a piece of bread
dropped by a family that’s leaving.
Seagulls looking for small fish swimming in the blue sea.
Left behind on the beach:
A family playing cricket.
Two little boys chasing each other
around the hot sand.
Three adults talking about the cold water
as they walk in for a swim.
Left behind on the beach:
A family of seven leaving the hot and sandy beach.
They slowly walk towards the their car thinking about how much they enjoyed their day at the beach.
